Instructions For Use

Preparing your watch for use (Winding – Date Adjustment – Time Setting)

The self-winding system automatically ensures your watch remains wound if you wear it for at least 14 hours per day. If you have not worn your watch for a period of time, we suggest you initially rewind it manually (please see the included diagram above & explanations for further details below).

1. To manually wind, loosed the water tight, screw-locked crown by unscrewing it in a backwards direction (anti-clockwise). Keep the crown in position 1 and then turn it forwards (clockwise), 10 to 20 times.

2. Pull the crown out to position 2 for calendar setting. Turn the crown forward (clockwise) to set the correct date and turn the crown backwards (anti-clockwise) to set the correct day.

3. Pull the crown out to position 3 and rotate the hands clockwise (to the right), until the current day/date "jumps" into place, at or after midnight, then proceed to set the correct time.

4. Push the crown back into position 1, and apply a slight regular pressure as you screw down the crown tight again. This is achieved by tuning the crown in a forward (clockwise) direction, until you feel resistance. Do not force the crown further than this point.

Important note: As with every mechanical timepiece, the automatic chronograph day/date calendar is automatically adjusted by a complicated mechanism that is triggered between 8pm and 2am. It is important to avoid any adjustment of the day/date calendar setting operation and any backward movement of the watch hands during this period of time.
